UDHAMPUR, Sept 7: SSP Udhampur Shargun Shukla today released a book titled ‘Tum Hi Ho Mere Hero’ in her office chamber.
The book based on the literature of UNICEF has been compiled by Child Help Desk (CHD) Railway Udhampur for distribution in their area of operation.
Speaking on the occasion, H C Katoch Director CHD Railway Udhampur highlighted the activities of Child Help Desk Railway Udhampur regarding outreach and awareness with both psychological and material support to the families and children in need of care and protection. He threw light on the contents of the book that gives psychological support to the children and also guidance about what to do and not to do during this period of pandemic.
He also mentioned the cooperation received from the J&K police and Railway Protection Force without which the efforts of the CHD would have remained half way. Mention was also made of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Udhampur that attended the Coordinator and his representatives even at odd hours to help for solving their issues.
The Director also spoke about Manmohan, Co-ordinator CHD Railway Udhampur, with the active sport of Team Member Sandeep Kumar who called out material from different sources to give it the shape of a book, titled, Tum Hi Ho Mere Hero.
Arti Thakur also helped as a Counsellor to strengthen the Psychology. Narinder Sharma, president PEACE also supported the efforts of SEEAS (Collaborate Partner of CIF).
