JALANDHAR (Pb), June 28: British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation (UK) here today hosted the official release of Punjabi book ‘Bunga Nanaksar – Ravidasia Singha Da Jujharu Itihaas’ authored by Roop Lal Roop, an ardent follower of Sant Guru Ravidass.
The event was presided over by Foundation Chairman Om Prakash Bagga of UK and was graced by former Indian Ambassador, Ramesh Chander as chief guest. The book was jointly unveiled by Ramesh Chander, Om Prakash Bagga, Balbir Ram Rattan, general secretary, British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation – India, Karam Singh Mehmi, president Bunga Nanaksar Organization and Baba Dharam Singh, chief sewadar.
Speaking on the occasion Ramesh Chander called the book a historic contribution to spiritual and social literature.
Om Prakash Bagga praised the author’s dedication in capturing the essence of Ravidasia movement.
Balbir Ram Rattan highlighted the book’s reflection of Guru Ravidass Ji’s spiritual teachings.
Karam Singh Mehmi urged the community to continue preserving and promoting the rich historical legacy.
Baba Dharam Singh described the book as a beacon that reaffirms Guru Ravidass Ji’s enduring role in uniting humanity.
