Bomb kills three security personnel in Pak

ISLAMABAD, June 9:  Three security personnel were killed and several others injured when a security forces convoy was targeted with a roadside bomb in the lawless North Waziristan tribal region of Pakistan today.
The convoy was attacked on Razmak Road near Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan, officials were quoted as saying by TV news channels.
Three security personnel were killed instantly, the officials said.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
US officials describe North Waziristan as a safe haven for Taliban and Al Qaeda elements.
