SRINAGAR, June 19: Kulgam police recovered a female body in Devsar area of Kulgam district last evening.
Kulgam Police found a female body near village Lankerpamboy, in the jurisdiction of Police station Devsar. She was later identified as Gulshan Ara daughter of Abdul Ahad Naik resident of Malwan. The lady was reported to be mentally unsound.
Devsar Police has initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of the death. After completion of all legal formalities the body of the deceased lady was handed over to her relatives for last rites.
