SRINAGAR, May 19: The body of Ghulam Qadir Deedad who was missing since 16th of May was recovered by Baramulla police from a Nallah in Baba Reshi.
A police spokesperson said that a Police Post Baba Reshi, recovered a body from Shrenz Nallah. An identity card was found with the body, which helped to identifying him as that of Ghulam Qadir Deedad, son of Fati Deeded of Bandiballa.
Police Baba Reshi has initiated an inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC in this regard. The body was sent for the post mortem and after conducting all legal formalities, it was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
The deceased was labourer by profession and was missing from last four days. A missing report has been lodged in Police Station Chandoosa, Baramulla.
