Body of militant recovered in Kashmir’s Bonita sector

SRINAGAR: Security forces today recovered body of a militant near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Bonita sector of Kashmir, officials said.
Army personnel opened fire when they noticed suspicious movement near the LoC at the Torna Post on Saturday night, they said.
Today, the body was recovered during a search operation in the area, the officials said, adding an assault rifle was also recovered from the scene of the incident.
The search operation was going on in the area till last reports came in, they added. (AGENCIES)
