Srinagar, Mar 19: Police today said the body of an unknown person which was recovered in Chadoora has been identified and was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
A police spokesman said an unidentified male body with multiple marks of violence was found in paddy fields in Chadoora, Budgam.
“The body was identified as Mudasir Ahmad Rather son of Fateh Mohammad of Hard-u-Divan, Chrar-e-Sharief,” he said, adding, further investigation is ongoing.
