JAMMU, Feb 12: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today started a fortnight campaign on ‘Poshan Abhiyan’ and performed musical play ‘Poshan Se Roshan’ in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education.
The play was written, produced and directed by M.L Dogra, former Regional Director Song and Drama Division.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, Ved Singh Thakur, AEE Designs, Inspections & Quality Control, Jammu.
Among guests of honour were V.K Magotra, former Regional Director Field Publicity; J.K Koul, Chief Patron J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society; Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director Health and Dr. Anju Dogra, Health Department.
Earlier in welcome address M.L Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS said that Poshan Abhiyan was launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and it aims reduce level of under-nutrition and anemia among young children, women and adolescent girls.
Artists who performed in the play were Kuldeep Raj Sangral, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Chahat Chadha, Mukesh Singh Rajput, Mahi, Dhruv, Rakshit Sharma, Ujwal Sharma, Sudesh Manhas, Bhoomika Chib, Sakshi Kumari, Sapna Devi, Kanchan, Rishab and others.
