JAMMU, Aug 1: In connection with “World Breast Feeding Week”, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in close coordination with ESRM presented musical play “Maa Ka Dudh” in at open air theatre, Durga Bhawan, Janipur, Jammu.
The program was inaugurated by VK Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India. Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, J&K Health Department and Romesh Chander, Event Director, were the guests of honor.
The play was written, produced and directed by ML Dogra, former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division, Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, while the music was composed by Raju Bajgal.
The play commenced with song of “Dudh Maa Ka Hi Pilao”, “Laga Gran Sare Sehtu Da Mela”, “Piya Hai Maa Ka Dudh to Aja” sung by the renowned artists, Usha Handoo, Raju Bajgal, Hem Raj and KK Joshi. In addition to this, skits on the theme were presented by the associates groups, Unison Cultural Troupe and Sangam Tru Art Production.
The singers, musicians, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed were Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, MC Kotwal, Raju Bajgal, Sunil Kumar, Mohd Afroz Alam, Dhruv Pandit,  Aryan Verma, Surinder Verma, Shaksham Khajuria, JK Raina, Rajni Gupta, Neelam Gandotra, Sant Das, Hem Raj and may others.
