JAMMU, Aug 2: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) presented musical play ‘Bharat Mahaan’ during its 10th Saturday musical play series in collaboration with Ek Sath Rang Mandal on the theme of National Integration and Communal Harmony.
The play was written and directed by ML Dogra, renowned writer and musical play director.
The programme was inaugurated by VK Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India.
While speaking, Magotra lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective on the theme of National Integration.
The singers, musician and actors who performed were Usha Handoo, Deepak Kumar Dogra, Raju, Neelam Gandotra, Kamli Devi, Avtar Kour, Santosh, Sunil Kumar, Adil Abbas, Meenakshi Pandita, Rajni Gupta, Bodh Raj, Pooja, Subash, Suraj Parkash, KK Joshi, Arun Singh, Deevam Jandyal, Nisha Jotshi, Anuroop Pathania, Nazuk, Kanta Sharma, Gouri Lal, Shivani Disgotra, Ganshaym Yadav, Sant Dass, Bhoomika Chib, Druv Pandit, Rohit Kumar Dogra, Afroz Alam, Bhanu Partap Singh, Kamla Devi and Kuldeep Raj.
Among others present were Vijay Malla, Writer Director of IPTA, Romesh Chander, Chairman, Unison Cultural Troupe, KL Verma, Tabla Maestro, Raju Bajgal, Music Teacher, Hem Raj and MC Kotwal.
