JAMMU, Jan 1: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented musical concert on the famous poems of renowned writer, producer, actor and director Bejaan at Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra, Anand Nagar (Bohri), here today.
The programme was organized in coordination with JK Bhoomi Human Welfare Society and Sangam Tru Art Production, and was inaugurated by lighting the traditional lamp by chief guest Swami Kumar Maharaj along with guests of honour, Ramesh Hangloo (founder Radio Sharda) and Verinder Bangroo (Director IGAU, Ministry of Culture).
Among the dignitaries were J K Raina, Free Lancer – Producer Director Films, Dr Agnishekhar (eminent poet), writer M L Dogra (chairman, Bharatiya Lok Sangeet Sansthan), Dr Sudhir Mahajan (senior drama instructor, writer and director).
The specially items prepared on the theme “Sonth kaluk poz bahara kur meiyn”, “Beechas Mermenz”, “Mun kis rababs”, nukkad, skits, songs and dances were presented to aware the masses.
An impressive musical program was also presented where in few lyrics from the book ‘Vechay Roozum’ were recited with the melodious voice of Sandeep Koul, Sumita Bhat, Usha Handoo and Anmol Raj and was very aesthetically and beautifully composed by Sandeep Koul while Rajat and Suraj accompanied on Synth and Tabla, respectively
In addition to this, BLSKS also presented songs on Corona with the message of maintaining physical distancing, hand hygiene and wearing masks as they can help prevent the spread of the virus from the person wearing the mask to others.
Among the participants were M C Kotwal, Tilak Raj, Sanjeev Sodhi, Rahul Pandita, Jetinder Josthi, Vinay Pandita, Daizy Bazaz, Pinkey Bhat, Sakshi Bhat, Shusheel Bhat, Chaht Chadha, Deepak Kumar and others.
