JAMMU, Sept 9: To celebrate International Literacy Day, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) organised a three day special Nukkad Natak campaign in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education and presented musical concert ‘Bin Akshar Sab Suna’ in this regard.
The programme was inaugurated by chief guest, V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity.
Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, J&K Health Department and Dr. A.C Bhagat, former Chief Animal Husbandry Officer were guests of honour.
Songs on the theme were written, produced and directed by Dr. M.L Dogra, former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division and the music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor.
The song sung on this occasion included ‘Maa Saraswati Sharda, Satya Mav Jayate’ etc.
Earlier the welcome address was given by Dr. M.L Dogra, BLSKS Chairman.
A puppet show was also organized.
K.K Joshi, Vice Chairman also spoke on the occasion.
Artists who performed in the programme were Kamla Devi, Sudesh Manhas, Rajni Gupta and others while Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
