BLSKS presents cultural programme for Machail pilgrims

JAMMU, Aug 18: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Santhan (BLSKS) here today presented a mega cultural programme for Chandi Mata Machail pilgrims wherein Sangam True Art Production, Sarasvati Sangeet Vidyalaya and National Computer Education Institute Jammu also coordinated.
The programme started with a devotional song ‘Aaya Datiye Ni Tera Mandir Machaila’.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Pt. Daya Nand while V.K Magotra, Former Regional Director of Field Publicity; Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director Health Department and J.K Raina, Producer, Director Films were the guests of honour.
Traditional folk culture of Jammu province apart from awareness items on the themes of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’, ‘Swach Bharat’, ‘Ujjwala’ and ‘Pardhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna’ were also presented.
Welcoming the dignitaries M.L Dogra, BLSKS Chairman highlighted the importance of Machail Yatra Holy Divya Jyoti of Chandi Mata and also explained aims and objectives of the programme which has been assigned to BLSKS for betterment of society.
Singers, musician and actors who performed were Hem Raj, M.C Kotwal, Rajni Gupta, Raju Bajgal (Harmonium), Guniya (Tabla), K.K Joshi, Kuldeep Raj, Afroz Raaz, Kamli Devi, Sant Das, Sunil Kumar, Rahul Kumar and others.
