BLSKS presents 269th Dogri Musical Play ‘Nashe Kola Bacho’

JAMMU, July 13: To make the masses aware about the ill effects of drugs and to promote traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in close coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education presented its 269th Saturday Series Dogri Musical Play “Nache Kola Bacho” on the theme of “Drug Abuse” at Open Air Theatre Durga Bhawan, Janipur, here today.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest VK Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, while Dr Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department, J&K Government; Dr Anju Kumari Dogra, Directorate of Health J&K Government and Dr Anupriya Sharma, President Medical Cell J&K State.
Specially prepared on the theme ‘Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio’, ‘Bacho Bacho Tobacco Kola Bacho’, ‘Nai Pee Shraban’, ‘Bari Kharab Chutki’, ‘Nahin Piya Tobacco Balma’, Nukkad, Skits, Songs and Dances were presented on the occasion.
The chief guest highlighted the dangers of drug use and other allied items.
Earlier, MLDogra, Chairman Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented welcome address, who appealed to the audience especially children to be the eyes and ears of the nation and pledged to put maximum efforts to make J&K State free from menace of drug addiction.
Dr Anju Kumari in her address stressed for extracting the maximum attention of the masses especially addicted population who suffered from the use of tobacco & tobacco products, alcohol and Liquor and other such habit forming agents i.e. Cocaine, Morphine, Heroin, etc.
Raju Bajgal ,Troupe Incharge also spoke on the occasion.
The singers, musicians, actors and students of Music and Computer Institute who performed in the musical play were
Kuldeep Raj, Dhruv Pandit , Chahat Chadha, Deevam Jandiyal, Rakshit Sharma, Renu Saproo, Ujwal Sharma, Vansh Raina, Sanvi Raina, Balblu Kumar, Azeen Ali and Sunil Kumar.
