JAMMU, July 29: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in association with ARJ Production, Sangam Tru Art Production & National College of Computer Education here today launched an album of Dogri Devotional Songs dedicated to the deity Raja Mandlik Ji.
Devotional songs in the album were written, produced and directed by Dr. M.L Dogra, Renowned Folk Theatre Director.
The songs were sung by renowned Singer Suraj Singh, Surinder Manahs, M.C Kotwal, Rajeev Salotra, Zulekha Farid, Neelam Gandotra, Sapna Gupta, Kuldeep Raj, Kamli Devi while the music was composed by Master Kartar Chand, Suraj Singh and Surinder Manahs and the album was recorded at Maa Vaishno Devi Production House Jammu.
In addition to this, a website of BLSKS was also launched.
Kavinder Gupta, Former Deputy Chief Minister was the chief guest on this occasion while Sohail Kazmi, Journalist, Mohan Lal, Deputy Director Sher-E-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur & Shree Raj Kumar Gupta, Go-Raksha Samiti President and Baba Ratan Lal Ji were guests of honour.
Renowned Music Director and Writer Yash Pal Yash conducted the proceedings of the programme.
Earlier, V.K Magotra, Managing Director in welcome address said Raja Mandlik/Jahrpeer Goga is folk deity of many States of India & an eminent warrior-hero of the regions.
Singers, musician and actors who performed on this occasion were K.K Joshi, Raju Bajgal, Rajeev Salotra, Rajni Gupta, Chahat Chadha, Sanjeev Sodhi, Sudesh Manhas, Aryan Verma, Afroz Raaz, Kamla Devi, Neelam Gandotra, Sapna Devi, Kuldeep Raj and others while Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
