JAMMU, Dec 11: A blood donation camp was organized by “New Young Blood Organization”, at the Blood Bank of Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu, here today. This blood donation camp was organized in the memory of soldiers who have sacrificed their lives fighting for the country.
New Young Blood Organization was represented by Ashok Verma, its chairman while Dr Rajinder Thapa CMO Govt Medical College Jammu, Bodhraj, who donated blood for 56th time, Shivali Chauhan, Kuldeep Singh, Naveen Gupta, Ramesh Kumar, Gurdeep Singh, Manmeet Kour, Dr Arun Sharma (Dy Medical Superintendent Govt Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu), were present on the occasion along with Incharge Blood Bank Gurdeep Singh and others.
Ashok Verma appealed people to come forward and donate blood for the needy people. He said that the New Young Blood Organization was ever ready for helping needy people, including the patients of Thallasemia.
