JAMMU, Aug 19: On World Photography Day, Jammu Photographers Union (JPU) here today organized a blood donation camp at Government Medical College, Jammu to extend solidarity with the victims of recent cloudburst at Chashoti.
The event was organised under the leadership of JPU, including Kapil Kapoor, president; Vikram Shridhar, vice president; Pardeep Mohtra, general secretary; Bodh Raj Kundal, cashier and Deepak Kumar, executive member.
On this occasion JPU expressed gratitude to all the photographers, volunteers and medical staff for coming forward to donate blood for the humanitarian cause.
JPU president, Kapil Kapoor said, “Photography is not just about capturing moments but also about creating meaningful ones. Through this blood donation camp, we wanted to mark World Photography Day with a gesture that saves lives.”
