Blind murder case solved

KATHUA Feb 6: Police Station Kathua in a prompt and decisive action under the supervision of Shridhar Patil , SSP Kathua solved blind murder case within three days.
Police said in the early morning of February 3, one person namely Pappu Ram, S/o Kishan Chand of Nadooliyan, tehsil Nagri reported at Police Post Nagri that one of his family members spotted a dead body of his brother namely Bittu Ram in Nullah near fields who has been brutally murdered by some unknown persons on the intervening night of February 2 and 3.
Police after receiving the information registered FIR No. 38/2019 U/S 302 RPC and a police team headed by Nikhil Rasgotra, Dy SP, HQ along with Inspector Arvind Sambyal, SHO, P/S Kathua and IC PP, Nagri, Vikas Jasrotia rushed to the spot. Police team based on evidences collected from spot and information gathered from local sources, rounded up one suspect namely Munish Kumar S/o Yashpaul R/o Nadooliyan, Tehsil Nagri who after sustained questioning confessed the crime.
Further investigation is going on to ascertain involvement of any other persons in commission of this crime, police said.
