*Says cine journey was intimidating initially

JAMMU, Nov 1: Kashmir valley’s famous Bollywood actress, Zaira Wasim while describing her cine journey as wonderful and charismatic, said that the journey was intimidating initially.
She said this in an exclusive interview with EXCELSIOR in Jammu today.

“I was like new to the (showbiz) world and felt nervous initially when I was working with my co-actors on the sets”, Zaira Khan said.
Zaira Wasim, who was an unknown figure one year ago, has now become a household name in Jammu and Kashmir after landing a role in superstar Aamir Khan’s movie ‘Dangal’ and now proceeding to another Bollywood movie ‘Secret Super Star’.
She said that it was very difficult to cope up with the pressure situations during my performances, adding that the people around me including Bollywood Superstar Amir Khan and likes guided me to perform beter.
“For that matter, I was blessed to have such people around me, who served as beacon lights to guide and goad me even in adverse and tougher situations,” Zaira expressed.
“They were highly supportive and cooperative, besides being utterly utterly professional,” she added.
To a question as to had she any professional training before beginning her Bollywood journey, Zaira Wasim Khan said that she hadn’t any training before starting her career, adding that acting comes from within and the only need is to hone the inherent skill.
“For having perfection in acting, you need to have aesthetic attachment with the things going on around you. Natural acting is the mantra to blossom in this field,” said iconic actress.
To a question as to how she felt after signing the new Bollywood movie ‘Secret Super Star’, in which she plays the lead role, that too after grand success of her debut film ‘Dangal’, Zaira said that felt ecstatic rather blissful.
She said when you have good company, you can do miracles in any field not to talk of the film field only.
When asked as to had she any dream roles to play in her future assignments, Zaira said that she had no dream roles, but she would love to do the roles which would convince her perfectly.
She had a firm belief that she would flourish in the field of acting, because of her sheer-dint of hard-work and the blessings of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
