JAMMU, June 14: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor Ritu Choudhary kick started blacktopping work with an estimated cost of Rs 10 lakhs in Ward 7 at Sunder Singh road, here today.
The blacktopping work was inaugurated by the Councillor in presence of Dr Mohd Hussain, Anil Kumar Ward Congress and prominent citizens of the Ward. The same work is being executed by the PWD.
Later, the Councillor along with AEE and JE visited Ward-7and its surrounding localities and met with the locals. The locals put forth various issues such as construction/renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes, etc.
Ritu Choudhary assured them all the demands will be redressed in a time-bound manner. “All the development works going on in Hari Vihar Colony of the said Ward will also complete in stipulated times with the cooperation of concerned AEE, JE and locals,” he added.
