BJP’s top brass feeling threatened: Soz

JAMMU, Apr 5: Former Union minister and PCC president Prof Saifuddin Soz today said that because of Narinder Modi’s style of functioning, even top BJP brass was feeling threatened.
Addressing an election meeting at Kunjwani in Jammu today, the PCC chief said the top BJP leadership is feeling the growth of a personality cult at the cost of the party itself. Prof Soz felt that BJP had started understanding the implications of a strange phenomenon of a personality cult which can endanger the prospects of BJP’s growth in future.
The PCC leader emphasized the fact that there was no doubt that Modi was hell-bent to build a Hindu Rashtra and he was ( Soz) was confident that secular India would defeat Modi in his designs. Soz said India’s democracy and its secular institutions had become strong and Modi’s sectarian and communal politics would be defeated and he, under no circumstances, make to the Prime Ministership of India.
He appealed the gathering to carry the message of togetherness and secularism in India vigorously to the neighbourhood and vote for Ghulam Nabi Azad, Madan Lal Sharma and other candidates fielded by INC-NC coalition.
Sitting Congress Minister Raman Bhalla, former Minister R S Chib, Gurmukh Singh and H L Abrol also spoke on the occasion.
