JAMMU, Jan 16: The Nari Samman Yatra launched by Mahila Morcha of BJP today reached Arnia in RS Pura.
Led by Mahila Morcha State president, Priya Sethi, general secretary Anuradha Charak and State secretary, Sanjita Dogra the Nari Samman Yatra was attended by large number of women of the area. Suresh Jamwal, Purnima Sharma, Mandal president, Rajeev Gupta and district general secretary Sunil Luthra, Sant Gainchand Shashtri were also present.
While addressing the women, Priya Sethi said that the time has come when the women of the State should take a banner of revolt against the anti women policies of the State Government. She said that the Coalition Government of NC and Congress are not serious about the upliftment of women. It is a matter of concern that the women are not receiving the pension. Due to mis-governance, the people specially the widows and old women are not receiving there due share, she added.
