JAMMU, Jan 18: Citing the immense support the party was getting from masses, Jammu and Kashmir BJP Minority Morcha president Ranjodh Singh Nalwa today expressed confidence that BJP would form Government in J&K on its own.
Nalwa welcomed at least 50 people into the Party fold in a function held at Digiana Camp here, saying that many people in J&K were keen on joining the party as they were highly impressed by the good governance and policies of the NDA Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The function was organized by the Minority Morcha as part of the BJP campaign to make the party truly a people’s party by inviting more and more people to become part of its ever-expanding family.
Nalwa, Balwant Singh Mankotia, Altaf Thakur and Neha Mahajan are the four BJP members who have been entrusted with the responsibility of reaching out to people and apprise them of the Party’s achievements & welfare schemes, and then welcome them into the Party fold.
The joining took place in the presence of BJP district president (Jammu South) Rekha Mahajan and JMC’s ex-deputy mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria.
Rekha spoke in detail about the BJP Government’s welfare schemes and other pro-people policies of the Party.
Billawaria too highlighted the Party’s policies, saying that BJP was the only party which was concerned about a common man.
Gurdeep Singh, who was among the joinees, was appointed by Nalwa as Minority Morcha’s district president, Jammu South.
Among those present on the occasion included vice-president Balwinder Singh (Parbhari), general secretary Damanjeet Singh, Imtiyaz Bhat, Mubashar Azad, office secretary Parvaiz Malik, district vice-presidents – Shallu Gupta & Karuna Kshetri, Ranjeet Singh, Jyoti Parkash (mandal presidents, Kunjwani), district vice-president Gurdyal Singh, media incharge Rocky Singh and district president (Border Palla) Joginder Singh.
