UDHAMPUR, Nov 21: J&K BJP spokesperson Ranbir Singh Pathania today claimed that BJP is going to sweep DDC polls from Udhampur.
While addressing massive public rallies at Khoon and Mansar coinciding with filing in nomination papers by party candidates Amit Sharma from Majalta and Juhi Manhas from Khoon, Pathania said that a strong pro public wave is blowing in favour of BJP in district Udhampur. Pathania further called upon the people to ensure that a body blow is delivered to People’s Alliance as well as overt and covert supporters of PAGD in Udhampur.
He said that a local political party which has a track record of opportunistic standpoints, betrayals and selling of peoples’ mandate in the past few decades after being voted again and again, has been crying wolf since 2015 since when they were voted out of power lock, stock and barrel. He further said that only lust for power is guiding their stage managed protests, demonstrations and tirades against Modi sarkar.
Amit Sharma DDC candidate from Majalta called for a greater civilian initiative in order to take full benefit of the centrally sponsored schemes while Juhi Manhas appealed the people of the area to vote for decisive leadership in the coming DDC elections. She further requested the people to reject politics of money, muscle power and ‘brash disrespect’.
Those present on the occasion were Mohinder Singh, Capt Gopal Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Prikshit Singh, Ved Sharma, Raman Khajuria, Mohan Lal Sharma, Manoj Kumar, Chain Singh, Surinder Singh, Ramesh Gupta, Soma Devi (All Sarpanches).
