BJP to launch Jan Jagran Abhiyan against Coronavirus: Dr Manyal

JAMMU, Mar 16: BJP today asked people to take all precautionary measures against deadly Coronavirus to keep it away from spreading instead of becoming panicky and follow the advisories of the Government given from time to time.
The appeal was made by BJP general secretary, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal while talking to reporters here this afternoon along with BJP vice president, Shakti Parihar.
Dr Manyal, said that the world is presently united to fight the deadly Covid 19, which has also been declared as Pandemic by the WHO as it has simultaneously gripped many nations. He said “In the present time we all must do whatever we can do to restrict the spread of this virus’’.
He said that BJP will fight the spread of viral infection by commencing a “Jana Jagaran Abhiyaan”. This Abhiyaan is a sensitization programme to aid various agencies like health etc. Dr. Manyal said that BJP will extend its reach to every individual by all means available to increase the awareness about spread as well as the ways to contain the infection. He said that BJP is pursuing one month long awareness campaign at district and block level for assisting the health agencies.
Dr. Manyal appreciated the Central and UT’s Health agencies for their active role in measures to contain this disease. He also appreciated the role of Director Health Services, doctors, paramedical staff, other health agencies at the levels of hospitals, health centers etc. at this crucial juncture.
Dr. Manyal also praised the common masses for their resolve to fight the disease and stressed that very simple measures can break the chain of its spread. Minimal stressed on washing hands, personal hygiene and other similar measures can play a principal role. He asked the masses to follow all instructions issued by Government agencies from time to time.
Shakti Parihar, said that to assist the health agencies, BJP has restricted all its political activities like public darbars and rallies and appreciated all the agencies for their efforts in restricting the infection in very initial stage. He appealed the educated masses particularly the youth from schools, colleges and Universities to aware all in their surroundings about the infection.
Parihar said that there is absolutely no need to get panicked of Covid 19 infection but it is highly advisable to take all the safety measures on high priority.
