BJP to launch 20 days ‘nationwide Seva aur Samarpan campaign’

JAMMU, Sept 10: Like other states and UTs of the country, the Jammu & Kashmir will also organize different programmes under ‘Seva aur Samarpan campaign’ from September 17 to October 07, this year.
This was announced by J&K BJP general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul, while chairing a meeting of prominent leaders of the party, along with its general secretary, Dr. Devinder Manyal here at party headquarter today.
Ashok Kaul, while elaborating on 20 days programmes, said that September 17 is the birthday of the world’s most popular leader and Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and October 7 is the day when he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat and remained in the chair till 2014, after becoming Prime Minister.
Ashok Koul said that the BJP has chalked out series of programmes under ‘Seva aur Samarpan’ campaign in which different initiatives and activities related to environment, seva, health, publicity, media and social media will be undertaken up to booth level.
In booth activity, post cards from all 5400 booths will be sent to PM Narendra Modi appreciating his governance and congratulate him on completing 20 years in active politics.
In Environment related activities, party workers will take on cleanliness drive of different rivers / water bodies in their respective areas, remove polythene bags and plastic bottles, plant trees etc.
In health sector, health and blood donation camps will be organized, people will be assisted in getting vaccination, providing artificial body aids to specially abled persons. Under the party programme to serve mankind it will distribute fruits, ration items, clothes, stationary items among the poor and needy.
The publicity activities include organizing exhibitions at district level highlighting programmes and policies of the Modi Government besides welfare schemes, fixing hoardings, organizing seminars and meetings for the purpose.
Moreover, penal discussions will be organized besides uploading the party page with Government works. Special focus will be laid on uploading video clips related to various programmes of the Government.
For smooth conduct of these activities, J&K BJP has given responsibilities to its leaders, who will coordinate and supervise their individual tasks.
General Secretary Dr. Devinder Manyal and Headquarter Incharge Priya Sethi will be overall incharge for Jammu province. General secretary Sunil Sharma will be Incharge for similar activities in Kashmir.
