REASI, Mar 17: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) while lashing out at opposition parties for launching a misinformation campaign against party today asked its cadres to aggressively fight the false propaganda and misinformation campaign launched by the opposition parties against BJP.
BJP Seh Prabari, Ashish Sood while addressing booth level activists at Madi in Reasi district today asked party men to counter the opposition propaganda and misinformation campaign against BJP forcefully. He said in this era of information warfare the party cadre needs to make use of social media in exposing these parties for looting the resources of the UT and the sins committed by them during their rule.
“Baffled with the anti corruption campaign launched by the Government and fearing that they will get exposed for the malpractices and corruption committed by them the leaders of these parties have started launching a misinformation campaign against Narendra Modi Government saying that CBI and other agencies are being misused by the Government to harass opposition leaders,” Sood said.
BJP leader said this is a false propaganda and it is bereft of truth. “If someone has amassed the wealth in his room and if the same is unearthed in the raid of CBI or other agencies what Government has to do in that? he asked adding “Do they expect that Modi Government will ask CBI or Enforcement Directorate not to conduct raids on these corrupt politicians who have looted the nation and its resources?.
He said this is the money of people which they have amassed through corrupt practices and for that they have to face the action.
He took a strong dig at National Conference (NC) president and former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah for signing letter of Kejriwal against PM and said the NC leaders are afraid that they may also face the same action as many leaders of the party and their relatives were also involved in corrupt practices and have amassed a huge wealth.
Sood said the NC and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leaders took wrong advantage of special status of J&K and gave undue benefits to their family members and relatives while common masses of the erstwhile State were left in distress.
By signing the letter of Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal against PM, Narendra Modi shows fully that Dr Abdullah and his party is supporting corrupt and corruption. Moreover, they are hand in glove in launching a misinformation campaign against BJP Government, Sood said and added this way these leaders have been exposed in public.
Sood warned that BJP will not sit idle but fully expose these parties and their leaders in public. “We fight them through a forceful narrative and frustrate their all designs”, he added.
The BJP leader said the party has launched massive campaign all over the country to take the achievements of Narendra Modi Government to masses through booth level committees and this campaign has also been launched in J&K under which party senior leaders from J&K and other parts of country will tour the length and breadth of the UT to interact with booth committee members and common masses who are the beneficiaries of PM schemes in far flung and remote areas.
On the pattern of Gujarat, the party has constituted “Pana Committees” and its concentration is to seek 55 percent votes from each booth in the coming election in J&K also so that the party can form next Government in the UT on its own. He said various programmes will be held at booth level and key voters will be involved in this process.
The party will take full advantage of social media in this campaign and contact voters in length and breadth of the UT. “We will visit door to door seek information from the people, contact those who got a house constructed and who were provided a free gas cylinder. Our main motive will be to strengthen the booth”, he added.
Sood said in case there are shortcomings, the party will try to improve them in future after seeking public feedback.
He said emphasis will be given to listen to the PM’s ‘Man ki Baat’ at every booth and party will make live contact with voters.
