BJP strengthening its base in Valley: Dr Narinder

SRINAGAR, Dec 28: State BJP general secretary, Dr Narinder Singh, today said that BJP is strengthening its base in Kashmir due to the policies of the Modi Government in the Centre.
He said that the masses of the Valley are positively contributing to the establishment of long-lasting peace in the Valley and the policies of the Central Government and State Government are the harbingers of this change.
The BJP leader said that the peace loving people of the Valley are greatly appreciating the honesty and good development-oriented governance of Prime Minister Modi, and are of the firm belief that he alone will restore peace and pristine glory to the Valley.
“The people of Kashmir have understood how past National Conference and Congress Governments in last 70 years have created alienation and lack of development. “Sabka Saath–Sabka Vikaas” is the only mantra of the BJP and to realize this dream of the Prime Minister, BJP is providing inclusive governance said”, he said.
Dr Narinder was speaking while addressing a meeting of party workers and office bearers during a tour of all the ten districts of the Valley conducted from December 25 to 27. During the tour, he held meeting with office bearers of all the 46 Assembly constituencies to take stock of the organizational activities.
The presidents of these 46 Assembly constituencies were exhorted to work for strengthening the party at grass root level, constituting booth level committees and short listing the candidates for the upcoming Panchayat elections.
The district presidents of BJP in the Valley, DK Nehru (Baramulla), Mohd Jamal Bhat (Kupwara), Waseem Bari (Ban-dipora), Gulam Hassan Khan (Budgam), Bashir Bhat (Gand-arbal), Javed Qadri (Shopian) and AG Bhat (Pulwama) along with district general secretaries, Vistaraks (full-timers) namely Mudasr, Mushtaq Noorabadi and Veer Saraf attended the meetings held at district level.
