This was stated by Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, President, BJP Minority Morcha Jammu and Kashmir in a statement.
Addressing a gathering here at Sanjay Nagar, Jammu, Nalwa enumerated various schemes launched by the Union as well as UT Government for the welfare of the general public.
He said Ayushman Bharat, a flagship health scheme of Government of India, has benefitted over 8 crores people who have got cashless medical treatments in various empanelled and wellness centres in India.
The Jan Aushadi initiative, he said, makes available quality drugs at affordable prices through dedicated stores selling generic medicines, which are available at lesser prices but are equivalent in quality and efficacy as expensive branded medicines.
