JAMMU, Nov 25: J&K BJP SC Morcha will undertake “Samvidhan Gourav Abhiyaan” from November 26 to December 6, 2021 to pay tributes to the Architect of the Indian Constitution Baba Sahib Bharat Ratna, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
This was stated by J&K BJP SC Morcha, president, Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat, while addressing a press conference here at BJP Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar today.
Member National SC Morcha & J&K Incharge “Samvidhan Gourav Abhiyaan” Mohan Thappa, SC Morcha vice-president and co-incharge of the Abhiyaan, Gulshan Bhagat, Morcha general secretary, Mohinder Kumar were also present in the press conference.
Prof. Gharu Ram said that the “Samvidhan Gourav Abhiyaan” will start on November 26, with the celebration of “Samvidhan Divas” at BJP Headquarter Trikuta Nagar, in which J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina will be the chief guest. The Abhiyaan will conclude on December 06, at R.S. Pura, which will be observed as “Mahaparinirvan Divas” of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
Prof. Bhagat insisted that these programmes will help to lay stress on the importance of the Indian Constitution and the prominent role of Baba Sahib in its drafting. He said that the “Samvidhan Gourav Abhiyaan” will be celebrated in all the districts of J&K. The office bearers of J&K BJP, MPs, former Ministers, former MLAs, DDC Chairpersons, BDCs and all elected DDCs, Sarpanches, Panches and Councilors will participate in the “Samvidhan Gourav Abhiyaan” in their respective districts to address the people and pay tributes to Dr. Ambedkar, he added.
It was further informed by the SC Morcha president that different programmes will be organized including public rallies to honour the outstanding persons and students of the society, seminars on the life of Dr. Ambedkar and the Constitution, Kavi Sammelan, sports events, cycle yatra etc.
