BJP requests public to abide by Govt directives

JAMMU, Mar 20: Jammu and Kashmir Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has requested public to abide by directives issued by Government and health agencies in fight against deadly coronavirus.
Appreciating the timely steps taken by Government to control the spread of virus in the country, J&K BJP chief spokesperson, Sunil Sethi today said that cases have come into light of suspects trying to hide and not disclose their identity which is causing most of problem in the UT.
He requested the public and especially the infected persons or who are suspected and their relatives to voluntarily report to health agencies about their health condition for their own interest and in the interest of their relatives who will be interacting with them.
He noted the fight against coronavirus has to be faught by all humanity unitedly and there is no way that some can survive and others will get affected only. This is major catastrophe which can be well taught and finished if we all stand together in transparency and follow the instructions coming from the Government and health agencies.
He called upon public not to spread or believe in rumours including treatment protocols which are unscientific and not approved by doctors and to resort to self treatment for and symptoms.
Sethi also called upon the Administration to create more infrastructure including more isolation hospitals, wards and ventilators which may be needed in case of distress if situation so required.
