JAMMU, Jan 6: The BJP has been fighting for the empowerment of women and reiterates its resolve to further intensify agitation with their active participation. This was stated by BJP State President & MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma while addressing the inaugural session of one-day State Working Committee meeting of Party’s Mahila Morcha here today.

Priya Sethi, while welcoming the participants from across the State, said that the women constitute about 50 percent of the population but the Governments have practiced discrimination with them. She said that the BJP has granted 33 percent reservation in its organizational setup, which itself is testimony to the fact that this party is committed for women empowerment.
