BJP ready to hit boundary in UP polls: Shah

JAUNPUR (UP), Mar 2: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday accused Samajwadi Party (SP) of doing politics of caste and religion and said that Bharatiya Janata Party is ready to hit the boundary in the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Addressing an election rally at Kerakat, Shah said, “Akhilesh is a weak bowler. He has bowled a full toss and BJP has to hit the boundary. Akhilesh sees caste from one eye and religion from the other.”

He said that the people gave massive support to BJP in 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections along with 2017 assembly polls, now the party is ready to hit the boundary in 2022 with more than 300 seats.

Shah said that during SP regime UP was not number one in any thing. “In the BJP Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is number one in production of milk, sugarcane, sugar, potato and green peas and number three in rice. During Akhilesh’s regime, UP was number one in dacoity, murder, extortion and atrocities against the women,” he said.

He said that development cannot happen if law and order is not good. “Investment cannot come if law and order situation is not good. If you want smooth law and order in UP then bring Yogi Government again,” he said.

Shah said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a bold step and abrogated Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. “At that time, Akhilesh said that if Article 370 was abrogated then streams of blood would flow in the country. Akhilesh, whom you were intimidating no one dared to even throw a pebble,” he said.

He said that PM provided corona vaccines to 130 crore people in the country. “After vaccines was developed PM Modi tweeted and thanked the scientists, but Akhilesh tweeted as said that it’s Modi’s vaccine, don’t take the jab otherwise you will land in problem. It is good that you don’t listen to Akhilesh otherwise it would have been difficult to survive third wave,” he said. (UNI)
