JAMMU, Mar 12; Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir has postponed its ambitious programme to reach up to masses by conducting public darbars at every Mandal although it was advised to avoid unnecessary panic while taking all the preventive measures.
Public darbars by BJP scheduled to be initiated from March 15 to March 22 at every Mandal throughout the region of Jammu were to be addressed by MPs, former ministers, former MLAs, former MLCs and senior leaders of the party. The development has been made in view of the fast and unrelenting spread of Corona Virus and recent find of new positive cases in the UT of J&K.
This revelation was done by J&K BJP general secretary and former Minister Sunil Sharma, along with other general secretaries Vibodh Gupta and Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal former Minister in a press conference at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar today.
Sunil Sharma, said that in wake of the present circumstances, BJP has decided to keep a hold on its all public programmes keeping in view the public health above all and as such the public Darbars by the party have been postponed for now till the situation improves and the spread of virus is brought under check.
