BJP pays tributes to Upendra Krishan Bhat

JAMMU, Oct 10: State Bharatiya Janata Party today organized a Shradhanjali Sabha at the party headquarters to bid emotional adieu to its senior leader late Upender Krishan Bhat, passed away after brief illness on October 8, 2019 at Delhi.

MP (Rajya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Manhas, former Dy CM Kavinder Gupta, BJP State General Secretary Dr Narinder Singh, JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta, MLC Ashok Khajuria, S Virenderjeet Singh, MLC Ajay Bharti, S S Bijral, Dr Susheel Wattal, Ashok Brarn, K K Khore, President KP Sabha, Dy Mayor Purnima Sharma and other BJP senior leaders expressed their emotions remembering contributions of the departed souls for the party and the society.
The speakers highlighted the sacrifices of Upender Krishan Bhat while working in the state BJP as office secretary. Speakers also remembered the time, when he was jailed during period of emergency for 10 months. It was also said that he lived a life of simplicity and created examples with his dedicated works, while he continued to live by the ethics of RSS Pracharak for his whole life.
