JAMMU, Sept 7: To help the flood ravaged people of the J&K in their rehabilitation, the 29 BJP MLAs of Delhi Assembly have contributed their one month salary for the flood affected people of the State.
This was disclosed by BJP Seh Prabhari J&K and MLA Delhi, R P Singh.
He said that Party MLAs of Delhi Assembly have unanimously decided to pay one month’s salary to the flood hit people of the State as a good will gesture to contribute their bit for rehabilitation of these people.
Singh said that being the citizens of the country this is our moral duty to help the people in distress in any part of the nation. He said though it may be a small amount to overcome the problem but such a gesture will awaken the spirit of fellow feeling among the masses and strengthen the bonds among them.
