Sharma demands compensation for flood affected people

JAMMU, Sept 7: Former Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) and senior Congress leader Ashok Sharma expressed serious concern over the loss of human lives and property during the heavy rains, storms and floods and demanded immediate compensation for the affected families.
Sharma has urged upon the Union Government headed by Prime Minister Narinder Modi to provide compensation to the families who lost their near ones. He also demanded compensation for the people, who suffered damages to their houses, crops and cattle.
Sharma also demanded 6 months free ration, seeds, fertilizers and fodder for the farmers and enhancement in special Prime Minister package for the restoration of damaged bridges, roads, private buildings and houses on war footings.
