JAMMU, July 11: In response to their letter submitted to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit in Jammu, three BJP MLAs including, Pawan Kumar Gupta, Baldev Raj Sharma and Satish Kumar Sharma today called on Union Minister of State, Dr Jitendera Singh.
The letter highlighted urgent developmental concerns in Katra including, a permanent solution to the water shortage, 24/7 uninterrupted electricity supply and development of smart roads and modern infrastructure.
The Prime Minister took immediate cognizance of the matter and entrusted Union Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh to personally look into the issues.
In a detailed follow-up meeting, Dr Jitendra Singh demonstrated his strong commitment to the cause and has immediately directed the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, to expedite action on all three issues raised by me in the letter.
This marks a significant step forward in our shared mission to enhance the quality of life for Katra’s residents and improve the experience for the millions of pilgrims who visit every year.
