BJP Mahila Morcha holds virtual conference, highlights NEP

JAMMU, Sept 28: BJP Jammu & Kashmir Mahila Morcha president, Sanjita Dogra along with State vice president and Prabhari Mahila Morcha Anuradha Charak, State secretary and Seh Prabhari Veenu Khanna, Ex MOS, Priya Sethi and general secretaries, Updesh Andotra, Neha Mahajan and Urvashi Gupta via virtual conferencing interacted with office bearers, district presidents, Special invitees and Executive Members, Mandal presidents, general secretaries of districts and Mandals.
Ex MOS and convener of NEPC (National Education Policy Competitions) was the main speaker who shared her views regarding NEP .
During the meeting Sanjita Dogra discussed Sukanya Samriddi Yojna anounced by the Central Government.
Sanjita Dogra said that every member must adopted one girl child from poor family and physically challenged girls to open an account in their name. She added that Sukanya Samriddhi account can be opened any time after the birth of a girl child till she turns 10, where one has to deposit a minimum of Rs 250 and to keep the account active, a minimum contribution of Rs 250 is mandatory in each financial year (and in multiples of Rs 100 thereafter). Maximum investment allowed per annum under the Sukanya Samridhi Yojna is establishing Rs 1.5 lakhs up to the end of the 15th year from the opening of the account.
She added that the account can be opened in any authorized branches of commercial banks and further said that this deposited money will help the girl child during their education and marriage and asked to Mahila Shakti to be a depositor of on behalf of a girl child of whom she is the guardian. Matr Shakti showed positive response and agreed to take this Central based scheme between the people to aware, who have girl child.
Ex MOS and convener of NEPC Priya Sethi said that the New Education Policy (NEP) announced by Modi Government will play a key role in creating a self-reliant India and open up the education sector for facilitating greater global exposure for Indian students.
She said holistic knowledge blended with the understanding of science is answer to all problems and this New Education Policy will shape the future of India and she said about the importance of education as a key component for creating an “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (self-reliant India).
