BJP Mahila Morcha holds State Working Committee meet

JAMMU, Apr 7: Giving stress on the Central Government’s policy of “Mahila Sashakti Karan”, J&K BJP State Mahila Morcha held its state working committee meeting here today.
The meeting commenced with the lightening of traditional lamp by BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma along with State Vice-President Rajni Sethi, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, Mahila Morcha state incharge Suresh Jamwal, Morcha state President Purnima Sharma, state secretary Anuradha Charak, senior leaders Sakina Bano, Usha Choudhary and Sheila Handoo. Speaker Kavinder Gupta was also present on the occasion.
Sat Sharma while addressing in the meeting, focused on the role of Mahila Morcha in the front line politics. No one irrespective of colour, caste, creed, sex, region or religion must be victimized and thus the role of Morchas is fervently essential for the upliftment of all those who were neglected for so many decades, he added.
Ashok Kaul primarily stressed on the organizational matters and stressed on the need of strengthening the party fabric at the booth level. He also acquainted the Morcha activists of all the forthcoming party programmes and prompted them to take these into the common masses.
Kavinder Gupta while addressing the Morcha activists asserted that the Nation has hastened the pace of development and advancement under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also stressed on the need of time management and increase in liaison for smooth and efficient working of Mahila Morcha.
Suresh Jamwal explained the working pattern and the strategy of the Mahila Morcha and stressed on the need for improvement in the person caliber of working by attending increasing number of training sessions being organized by the party.
Purnima Sharma in her presidential address gave the account of organizational and developmental works undertaken by the Mahila Morcha at various levels in the previous months. She also stressed on the social security of the females along with their empowerment and upliftment, which will boost their morale and their efficiency be utilized.
Morcha state General Secretary Sanjita Dogra read the minutes of last working committee meeting whereas the vote of thanks was presented by Vistarika Anju Dogra.
