BJP lost moral right to remain in power: Manohar

JAMMU, Dec 31: Former minister and senior Congress leader from Billawar,  Dr Manohar Lal Sharma has expressed serious  concern over the working of  the BJP-PDP Government against the interests of Jammu, particularly the educated youth of the region.
In a press statement here, the Congress leader said that the decisions taken by the BJP-PDP Govt against Jammu youth regarding recruitment in Education and some other departments has been widely condemned  by the all section of society including political parties irrespective of their affiliation.  But BJP and its leadership did not bother over the highly discriminatory and bias attitude of State Govt.
Dr Sharma  accused BJP of  its complete surrender before PDP by selling due share of employment and development of Jammu region. The people of Jammu region have shown resentment against the discrimination on the resent allotment of post of teachers in the  Education department. He said that the BJP should explain reason behind this highly discriminatory decision of  Education Department  for allotment of  14% seats to Jammu, 0 % to Ladakh and 84% to Kashmir.
Dr Sharma said that Congress believes in equal share to all the three regions of State where it may be the allotment of funds, employment share and no discrimination with any region. He said that the period of  Ghulam Nabi Azad as CM of the J&K State has  remained an example for fair justice to all.
The PCC leader said that  the BJP has crossed all the limits of injustice with Jammu where it may be the PSC selection lists of Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges, Associate Professors in GMC, Judicial officers, doctors and engineers etc. But all the Ministers and MLAs of BJP remained completely mum over crucial  issues pertaining to Jammu region.
He said that the common man feels cheated by the present PDP and BJP Coalition Government and the real face of BJP stands totally exposed  before the public. DyCM, Dr Nirmal Singh not even utters a single word against all these anti-Jammu decisions, Mr Sharma maintained.
