BJP, LG’s Admn responsible for minority killings: Cong

JAMMU, June 5: Senior Congress leader and former minister Mula Ram today alleged that incompetent BJP Government and LG Administration are responsible for minority killings in Jammu and Kashmir.
While addressing a public meeting at Ghou Manhasa in Marh constituency today, Mula Ram said that incompetent BJP Government at the Centre and LG Administration in Union Territory of J&K are mainly responsible for killings of innocents in Jammu and Kashmir. He said if Congress comes to power, it will start new era of development in J&K.
PCC leader said that due to hollow policies of BJP at the Centre and in J&K UT, problems of people have increased manifold. He said Congress is only option to the ‘Jumla Party’. He said peace is still a dream in J&K and situation is worsening day by day. In J&K sufferings and killings of innocent are on the rise.
Mula Ram castigated the Government for being unable to restore peace in J&K, as a result of which the spree of targeted killings continues unabated today. He said Govt had made tall claims of restoration of peace and order in J&K after Abrogation of 370 and 35 A, but reality is that the situation has gone from bad to worse post Abrogation. Mula Ram said situation in J&K has returned back to 1990s circumstances when minority community was subject to force exodus that could not be reversed till date.
Congress leader said even senior politicians and Ex-ministers in J&K are without security cover and at high risk of militants attack. Mula Ram said that despite promising stars and moon to the people, the BJP Government and LG Administration had taken no steps to change the lives of people who are living in atmosphere of fever.
