JAMMU, June 28 : The blacktopping of interior roads of Adarash Nagar Lane No 1,2 & 3 of Ward No. 63 was kick started today by BJP leaders including Corporator Ward 63, Kuldeep Singh Chib and Prabhari BJP Kashmir Displaced district, Chand Ji Bhat today.
The work has been started under Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of Girdhari Lal Ex MLC and BJP spokesperson of J&K.
Booth president KDD Rohit Munshi, Mahila Morcha secretary, Rajni and many other party workers of Bantalab including Balbir Singh Chib were present. The inmates complimented Ajay Bharti for accomplishing the remaining work of black topping of inner roads of Adarsh Nagar lanes 1, 2 & 3 of Ward in the area besides constructing lanes and drains earlier thus mitigating their sufferings.
Meanwhile, the KDD Mahila Morcha held a Jan Jagran Abhiyan at Jagti under the leadership of Dolly Raina to highlight the achievements of Modi Government during last six years in office. Besides Chand Ji Bhat Prabhari of the KDD its general secretary, Vinod Pandit also addressed it.
In another meeting KDD held at Durga Nagar under the leadership of its vice president Makhan Lal Bhat the Government was urged to issue the order for selection of 52 displaced Pandit candidates under PM package selected under notification of 2012 and give the benefits of Ayushman Bharat and other schemes to migrants from Valley besides compensation to displaced farmers.
