SAMBA, Aug 24: Senior BJP leader and working committee member Arun Kumar Sharma toured Nud block areas of Samba district and held a series of meetings.
Accompanied by other party functionaries, including Naresh Amba, Kuldip Shar-ma, Shiv Manyal and Dinesh Sam-byal, Arun Sharma addr-essed public meetings at village Chilla-danda, Mourgarh, Nalli Gujran, Rajul, Katarh, Kumi, Janda, Keni and Badla Brahmana.
While addressing the gatherings, Arun Sharma highlights policies and programmes of the Bhartiya Janta Party led Modi Government for the welfare of the common masses, particularly deprived sections of the society, SCs, STs, OBCs and Economically Weaker Sections etc. He stressed that only BJP can provide a people friendly stable Government in J&K as well as at the Centre.
During these public meetings, prominent locals also raised several issues, including construction of roads, need of installing additional electricity polls, strengthening of Village Defence Committees, recruitment of SPOs in areas and development of the hilly backward areas.
Arun Sharma assured to take up all their issues before the concerned authorities for early redressal of the same.
