BJP leader, others booked for threatening priest family, stealing CCTV cameras from temple

JAMMU, Jan 11: Bharatiya Janata Party’s woman leader Aditi Sharma and four others have been booked for allegedly barging into temple premises in Talab Tillo area and threatening the priest and his family vis stealing the CCTV cameras from temple premises.
As per police sources, woman BJP leader Aditi Sharma barged into a temple in Talab Tillo area along with four others and threatened the priest and his family members.
“The land on which the temple is constructed is a disputed land while the BJP leader, who claims to be trustee of the temple, was favouring one of the parties. Aditi Sharma along with others stole the CCTV cameras installed in the temple premises and also ransacked the articles kept in the temple”, sources added.
Sources said that an FIR Number 3/19 under section 448, 382, 379, 147 and 427 RPC has been registered at Police Station Nowabad against BJP leader Aditi Sharma, who is also President of Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust and others on a complaint of Radhey Sham (priest of the temple), son of Chandi Parshad, a resident of Uttrakhand, at present Shiv Mandir Tirth Nagar Talab Tillo.
The case has been registered on the complaint of priest, who also alleged that Aditi Sharma along with Tirth Kumar, Neel Choudhary, Mulkh Raj and Dilip Singh barged in the temple premises with vested interest.
However, no arrest has been made till the last reports were compiled, while further investigation into the case is going on.
