BJP leader meets Maha Governor, discusses J&K scenario

MUMBAI, Apr 22: Incharge of All Cells of BJP J&K, Rakesh Mahajan met Maharashtra Governor, Ramesh Bais and discussed with him the scenario of J&K.
The BJP leader apprised Maharashtra Governor about latest political scenario in J&K and how the Union Territory is fast returning to normalcy after the scrapping of Articles 35-A and 370, which acted as major bottlenecks in restoring peace and development.
Mahajan said that after August 5, 2019, the scenario in J&K has changed as every nook and corner is now witnessing equitable development because the new industrial policy, boost to tourism, agriculture and horticulture sectors are all playing significant roles in making lives of people meaningful and convenient with peace becoming the new norm especially in the trouble-torn Kashmir valley.
He said that development scenario in Rajouri and Poonch is also exemplary as tourism, roads and highways and religious tourism are among the top priorities of the Government making these conventionally backward regions new places of happenings as tourists for the first time are thronging places of their interests because the government has taken up this cause at the highest level.
The BJP leader also invited the Governor of Maharashtra to pay obeisance at Baba Buddha Amarnath and Shahdara Sharief in Rajouri as both these places hold special religious significance.
The Maharashtra Governor after having active discussion on various aspects of socio-political scenario of J&K accepted the invitation and assured the BJP leader that he would visit the famous religious destinations of Rajouri in coming days.
