JAMMU, Sept 10:  BJP publicity secretary, Aseem Gupta has expressed his grave concern over the slow pace of development in the State.
In a statement issued here today, he said the condition of almost all roads is worst in Jammu region.
He said what has been the fun of constructing fourth bridge over river Tawi by spending crores of rupees when there is no road ahead of it.
He said along with the bridge the Government should have constructed two lane road linking it to Akhnoor road via Bhagwati Nagar,  which it had failed  resulting in heavy traffic burden on main Tawi bridge and B C Road. Mr Gupta said in case the double lane road was not constructed to connect fourth Tawi bridge with Akhnoor road, the huge amount spent of the bridge will go waste.
He, while expressing concern over condition of roads and lanes in Channi Himmat and transport Nagar demanded construction of a fly over near Railway bridge in Narwal to avoid the huge traffic jams on the road.
