BJP launches ‘Mera Parivar BJP Parivar’ campaign from Ward 1

JAMMU, Feb 12: BJP National vice-president & J&K Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna, today launched ‘Mera Parivar BJP Parivar’ election campaign in Jammu.
The campaign was started from the Ward No 1, in the presence of Dy Mayor JMC, and Corporator of the Ward, Purnima Sharma in which other party leaders including State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, MLC Ashok Khajuria, former MLA Rajesh Gupta and JMC Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta were also present.
The campaign was started, after the senior BJP leaders hoisted the Tricolor at the residence of Dy Mayor, Purnima Sharma in the presence of all other BJP Karyakartas, voters, supporters, sympathizers and beneficiaries of the Ward No. 1.
Speaking on the occasion, Avinash Rai Khanna said that this is a prestigious project that has been started by the party nationwide, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections and State Assembly elections.
“From 2014 to 2019, we have made a successful attempt to strengthen democracy, strengthen the organization, and increase party’s acceptance of ideology. All this means that in 2019, BJP will get absolute majority and Narendra Modi will again be the Prime Minister of the country,” he further added.
State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul said that ahead of the elections in the country as well in the State, this is the biggest ever campaign started by the BJP. Under the 10-day program, we will try to reach out to all workers at the booth level.
MLC, Ashok Khajuria said that like many other progarmmes which were launched earlier by the party, ‘Mera Parivar BJP Parivar’ programs shall be expanded with every worker of the BJP, with complete diligence and micro planning.
The BJP workers will also reach the beneficiaries of the central and State Government schemes and will use the BJP’s flag and stickers.
Former MLA Rajesh Gupta said that putting its general election campaign on top gear with nationwide launch of ‘Mera Parivar BJP Parivar’ campaign, all party office bearers will launch vigorous door-to-door campaign, presenting voters with achievements of the BJP led NDA Government.
Purnima Sharma said the campaign will conclude with ‘Vijay Sankalp’ yatra on March 3 with bike rallies across the State, she said, adding the party will then move down to vigorous campaigning for the candidate once the elections are announced.
Among others, the party leaders who were present on the occasion included, State general secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh and Yudhvir Sethi, Parbhari Jammu Jugal Dogra, etc.
