JAMMU, Oct 5: BJP today held Working Committee meeting of Jammu Rural district at Dansal, which among the senior leaders of the party was attended by its State vice-president Bharat Bhushan, State general secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, State secretary & district Prabhari Aseem Gupta, State Working Committee Member Nand Kishore, district president Omi Khajuria, Kissan Morcha State president Rajinder Singh Chib, BJYM State general secretary Vikas Choudhary.
The daylong meeting had different sessions addressed by individual leaders besides reporting by the district and mandal teams of BJP, BJYM, Kissan Morcha, Mahila Morcha and Anusuchit Jaati Morcha.
Bharat Bhushan spoke on the contribution of the BJP activists in rural areas in strengthening the party by their commitment. He said that the people get associated with BJP due to its clear policy of justice to all and appeasement to none.
Dr. Narinder Singh spoke on the history of BJP and its achievements in just 36 years of coming into existence. He gave various instances when the party had to pass through hard times but did not compromise on basic ideology and principles.
Aseem Gupta, while addressing the meeting, said that BJP is not only a political party but mission which works for promoting nationalism and uniting the people to defeat the nefarious designs of anti-social and anti-national elements. He said that our cadre is real strength of the party and we feel pride of being member of such an organization.
Nand Kishore spoke on various welfare schemes launched by the Narendra Modi government at the Centre and BJP coalition in the state.
Omi Khajuria presented details related to the political and organizational activities being undertaken during the last three months in the Jammu Rural district.
Rajinder Singh Chib briefed the meeting about the schemes which has been exclusively initiated for the economic upliftment of the farmers.
District general secretaries Mukesh Sharma and Pawan Singh and presidents of all Morchas besides members of the district working committee attended the meeting.
Another district Working Committee meeting of the Party’s Doda district was held at Bhaderwah today under the leadership of district president, advocate Manjeet Razdan.
Besides, nine Mandal presidents of the district, Party MLA from Doda, Shakti Parihar and Bhadarwah MLA Dilip Singh Parihar also attended the meeting. Manish Sharma in charge Jammu and Kashmir Morchas was a special invitee in the meeting.
Manjit Razdhan asked the Party activists to reach out to common masses with the schemes and programmes of the Party to strength the organization at grass root level. The two MLAs apprised of the various developmental schemes launched in their respective constituencies.
The Party held the Working Committee meetings for Kishtwar where Ashok Kaul State general secretary organization was the main speaker while at Reasi another general secretary of the Party Pawan Khajuria and Stat secretary Sanjay Baru were the main speakers.
In the district Working Committee meeting at Samba, Party general secretary Harinder Gupta was the main speaker while at Basholi advocate Vijay Sharma was the main speaker. At Ramban senior Party leaders Bansi Lal Bharti, Arun Chibber and Rajiv Charak were the main speakers.
