JAMMU, Apr 11: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), held review meeting to discuss the ground situation in J&K and various relief measures taken by party leaders amid Corona lockdown at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar here, today.
Former Dy. CM, Kavinder Gupta, J&K BJP general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul and party general secretary, Vibodh Gupta (former MLC) and party vice president, Aseem Gupta held threadbare discussions with senior party leaders and took account of various relief measures in the Union Territory of J&K.
Kavinder Gupta, appreciated selfless service being provided by party activists to the needy persons amid Corona Lockdown. He asked party leaders to further boost up relief distribution process to every needy individual. He maintained that BJP leaders must maintain norms of social distancing while helping the needy.
Ashok Kaul, discussed the relief activities during Corona Lockdown in every district of J&K. He asked party leaders to simultaneously aware general masses about all the mandatory guidelines given by Government and health agencies to combat spread of Corona Virus. He also asked party leaders to prompt masses to download Arogya Setu, a mobile app, launched by the Government to aid the masses fight with the spread of Corona Virus.
Vibodh Gupta, said that the party leaders have undertaken major relief activities in all the 27 party districts in J&K covering all 288 Mandals. He said that party leaders are attending to the call of every needy person from J&K as well as outside and they are doing their all sincere efforts to help them in this need of the hour.
Aseem Gupta, said that around Rs 1.4 lakh foods packets, 4.25 lakhs dry ration kits and 35 thousands face masks have been distributed in J&K by around 45 hundred party activists. He told that regular video and audio conferencing with national leaders like BJP national president, JP Nadda, national general secretary (Org.), B L Santhosh, Union MoS, Dr. Jitendra Singh are being held to review the J&K situation.
J&K BJP office secretary, Tilak Raj Gupta, spokespersons, R. S. Pathania & Abhijeet Jasrotia, media secretary, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, additional office secretary, Naresh Singh and others were present in the meeting.
